Michele M. Campbell has extensive experience in association management and governance.

From 2009 onwards, they worked at the American Society of Anesthesiologists, where they initially served as the Director of Executive Office and Governance. In this role, they recommended and implemented best practices in governance operations, advised member leaders and staff on alignment with bylaws and strategic plans, and directed governance activities such as elections and committee support.

After that, they became the Society Manager, responsible for managing and directing operations for contracted societies. This included legal compliance, board relations, advocacy, educational programming, fundraising, member communications, and website management.

Before that, they worked at the National Safety Council from 2000 to 2007 as the Division Manager and Chapter Services Marketing Associate. Michele M. managed association member divisions, conducted meeting planning, and coordinated communications with chapters nationwide.

Michele M. Campbell, M.A., M.B.A., CAE, RP has an extensive education history. From 2010 to 2016, they attended Roosevelt University where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a concentration in Training and Development. Michele M. also obtained Graduate Credentials in E-Learning, Instructional Design, and Training and Development from Roosevelt University, completing this program in 2013.

Michele holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Counseling Psychology from Illinois State University, which they received in 1995. Michele M.'sundergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from Illinois State University, obtained in 1992. Michele M. initially pursued higher education at Elgin Community College from 1988 to 1990, where they earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Political Science.

In addition to their academic achievements, Michele has obtained certifications in their field. In May 2015, they became a Registered Parliamentarian through the National Association of Parliamentarians. Furthermore, in January 2010, they obtained the Certified Association Executive certification from ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership.
