Xavier Hernandez has significant work experience in the technology field. Xavier started their career as a Software Developer at WExcel Inc. in 1997, where they developed and maintained websites for various clients using technologies such as HTML and ASP. Xavier worked at WExcel Inc. until 2009.
In 2009, Xavier became an Independent Consultant and started working as a Freelancer. Xavier served as an Independent Consultant until they joined the American Society of Anesthesiologists® (ASA) in 2010.
At ASA, Xavier initially worked as a Senior Application Developer, utilizing ASP.NET with C# and VB to develop web forms, console applications, and web APIs. Xavier held this role until 2022. After that, they were promoted to the position of Lead Application Developer, where they continued to excel until 2023. Xavier is currently employed at ASA as a Software Engineering Manager.
Xavier Hernandez obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Saint Xavier University, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2001, they became a Microsoft Certified Professional and also achieved the CompTIA A+ certification. In 2004, they obtained the CompTIA IT Operations Specialist - CIOS certification and the CompTIA Network+ certification. In 2010, they obtained the V6 Advanced User 20 certification from Sitecore. More recently, in 2021, they achieved the Sitecore Experience Solution 9 Developer Certification Exam-Online Proctored certification. Xavier'smost recent certification is the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, acquired in March 2022.
