Marsha D. Anderson Bomar

Marsha D. Anderson Bomar is currently the Interim Commissioner of the Atlanta Department of Transportation. Previously, she served as Assistant General Manager of the Metropolitan Atlanta Regional Transit Authority for Capital Program Delivery. Her expertise spans transportation planning, traffic engineering, land development, transit operations, and capital programs. She is passionate about incorporating sustainability principles in projects and meeting at the intersection of community, transportation, and sustainability.

Ms. Anderson Bomar has served as an elected official, Councilmember, and Mayor of Pro Tempore for the City of Duluth, Georgia, and works to encourage others with a strong technical background to consider serving.
