Anthony Sheetz

Anthony Sheetz serves as the Chief Technology Officer at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) since May 2023. Prior to this role, Anthony spent a decade at Inspire, where responsibilities included Vice President of Information Security and Infrastructure, overseeing the establishment of the information security practice and the implementation of an automated machine learning pipeline, as well as Vice President of Engineering, expanding the development team significantly. Additionally, Anthony's experience includes senior systems engineering roles at various companies, including StartUpHire and Zurka Interactive LLC, where foundational technology infrastructure was developed. Earlier career highlights feature a technical management role at AOL and a management position at The Washington Post, focusing on server infrastructure and team leadership. Anthony holds a BA in Science and Technology Studies from Virginia Tech, completed in 1996.
