Doug Pyle

VP, International Affairs at American Society Of Clinical Oncology

Mr. Pyle joined ASCO in 2007. Mr. Pyle is responsible for directing the international programs of ASCO and advising the Society on the needs and interests of its international members and constituents. He has more than twenty-five years of experience in international affairs in the public, non-profit and corporate sectors. Prior to joining ASCO, Mr. Pyle was the Director of Business Solutions for the International Services department of the American Red Cross, where he led strategic process improvements to the organization's global humanitarian operations.

Earlier in his career, he was the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the Center for International Rehabilitation, the Manager for strategic planning/business development for the US subsidiary of Eisai (a Japanese pharmaceutical company), and administered technical assistance projects funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development. Mr. Pyle earned a bachelor's degree in history from Carleton College and a Master of Business Administration degree from Yale University.
