Kristen Neese has a diverse work experience in the field of marketing and communications. Kristen is currently working as the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at GSK from 2019 to 2022, where they held the roles of Vice President, Communications - Global Product, Pipeline & US Corporate and Vice President, US Communications. Before joining GSK, Kristen was the Director Corporate Affairs at Amgen from 2015 to 2019. Kristen also served as the President of CommSolves from 2012 to 2015. Kristen has a significant background in corporate communications and media relations, having worked at Pfizer as the Senior Director, Corporate Communications & External Affairs for Science, Medical & Policy and Director, Media Relations from 2008 to 2013. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Communications Advisor at FDA from 2005 to 2007 and as a Sr. Vice President, Media Relations at MSLGROUP Americas, Inc. from 1998 to 2005. Kristen started their career as an Account Supervisor at Porter Novelli from 1994 to 1998.
