Sekeithia Mitchell

Sekeithia Mitchell has held various roles in their work experience. Sekeithia started their career at the Association of American Medical Colleges, where they served as a Client and Technical Support Supervisor and later as a Senior IT Security Specialist. In these roles, they managed a helpdesk team, developed and implemented policies, and provided customer support. Sekeithia then worked at Sirius XM Radio Inc. as a Senior IT Risk & Compliance Analyst before moving on to eGlobalTech, where they were an ISSO Support Task Lead. Most recently, they worked at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), first as an Associate Director of Cybersecurity and then as the Director of Governance Risk and Compliance/HIPAA Officer. Sekeithia'sresponsibilities at ASCO included implementing compliance programs, addressing information security controls, and ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Sekeithia Mitchell holds a Master of Information Technology degree in Cyber Security Policy from the University of Maryland Global Campus, which was obtained between 2011 and 2013. Sekeithia also completed a Master of Information Technology degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from the same institution between 2009 and 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with a Concentration in Criminal Justice from the University of North Carolina Asheville, which was obtained between 1995 and 1997. Additionally, Sekeithia Mitchell has obtained various certifications, including the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA in 2014 and the Health Care Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP) from (ISC)² in 2018. Sekeithia also holds other certifications related to cybersecurity, privacy, risk management, and cloud computing.
