Erik Koster has extensive work experience in event management and stakeholder experience. Erik started as an Event Manager at Patrick Properties in February 2006 but transitioned to become the Director of Meeting Services at The Health Management Academy in March of the same year. Erik held this position until March 2015, during which they also took on the role of Health System Relations from March 2012 to March 2013. From March 2015 to January 2019, Koster worked as the Director of National Accounts at Premier Event Resources. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director Events and Stakeholder Experience at ASCP starting from December 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Meetings and Events at ASCP from January 2019 to January 2023.
Erik Koster attended Johnson & Wales University from 2001 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Food and Beverage Management. Prior to their university education, they completed their high school education at Mercer Island High School. In addition to their academic qualifications, Erik has obtained certifications in Medical Meeting Compliance from Meeting Professionals International in April 2023, and in Business Contracts from Cornell University in January 2023.
