Mariano Falconi

Mariano Falconi serves as the Director of the Graduate Department and the Director of the Cardiology Specialist Career at Universidad Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires since 2013, while also acting as an Associate Professor in the Department of Academic Clinical Medicine. Falconi holds the position of Vice-Director of the Cardiology Specialist Career at Fundación Cardiológica Argentina and has been an integral part of Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires since 1995, currently leading the Cardiovascular Imaging Unit. In addition, Falconi is a Fellow of both the American College of Cardiology and The American Society of Echocardiography, and is a member of the editorial board for the World Journal of Cardiology. Active in several cardiology organizations, Falconi has held numerous roles including Treasurer and Vice Treasurer at the Sociedad Argentina de Cardiología. Educational contributions include teaching cardiovascular anatomy to medical and postgraduate students at Universidad del Salvador. Falconi's academic qualifications include a medical degree from Universidad del Salvador and multiple specializations and master's degrees from the University of Buenos Aires.
