Alexis Starosta is the Patient Outreach Manager at the American Society of Gene & Cell Therapy. Alexis has been with the company for over a year and in their current role, they manage patient recruitment and education initiatives for clinical trials, coordinates patient advocacy groups, and provides updates to the ASGCT membership on the latest happenings in the field of gene and cell therapy. Prior to their work at ASGCT, Alexis was a fitness instructor at the UW-Lacrosse Rec Center where they taught classes such as INSANITY, POUND, cycling, and pilates. Alexis is certified in all of these areas and helped many students reach their fitness goals.

Alexis Starosta is a certified health education specialist who has a bachelor's degree in public health from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Alexis is also certified by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. (NCHEC) as a Pound Pro and by Beachbody as an INSANITY Fitness instructor.

Their manager is Grant Holley, Director of Science & Education. They are on a team with Danielle Gale - Program Manager, Renee Strong - Program Manager, Diversity & Inclusion, and Alison Kujawski - Senior Outreach Manager.
