Gunes Turhanli

Gunes Turhanli currently serves as the Editorial Coordinator at ASHP, a position held since April 2023. Previously, Gunes worked as a Consular Officer at the Turkish Embassy in Washington, DC, from May 2022 to April 2023, where responsibilities included conducting applicant interviews, processing visa applications, and managing administrative functions to ensure compliance with legal requirements. Gunes has also held the role of Editorial Coordinator and Editor at Hil Publishing from March 2014 to June 2021, focusing on non-fiction book editing. Gunes is pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Publishing Management at The George Washington University, having previously earned a Master of Arts in Political Science from Sabanci University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Işık Üniversitesi.
