Jennifer McVeigh, MS, CMP, DES, is an experienced project manager currently overseeing National Meetings Education at ASHP since October 2020. With a strong background in conference management, Jennifer served as Conference Program Manager at the National Association for the Education of Young Children from June 2008 to August 2020, where responsibilities included organizing two major conferences annually, notably the Annual Conference with 7,000 attendees, and the Institute with 1,200 attendees. Prior to this role, Jennifer held the position of Assistant Director at the American Podiatric Medical Association, Inc., focusing on the accreditation process for residency programs, and coordinated on-site annual reviews. Earlier in Jennifer's career, the role of Manager of Education Programs was fulfilled at International Concrete & Aggregates Group, Inc., where Jennifer managed education initiatives for major trade shows, including the prominent CONEXPO-CON/AGG. Educational qualifications include a BA in Foreign Language & Communication Media from American University and an MS in Nonprofit and Association Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
