Amanda Canavatchel

Amanda Canavatchel, MPH, currently serves as the Manager of Sickle Cell Disease Education and Manager of Education Projects at the American Society of Hematology since October 2022. Previous experience includes roles as Project Coordinator at the Massachusetts Health Officers Association, Project Manager at the Cambridge Public Health Department, and Field Operations Manager for the Academic Public Health Volunteer Corps. Amanda also held positions as Graduate Intern at the University of Michigan and Research Administrator and Research Assistant at Tufts Medical Center. Amanda earned a Master of Public Health in Program Management from the Boston University School of Public Health and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Syracuse University.
