Chet Phirum

Chet Phirum serves as the Association Development Lead at the American Soybean Association since August 2019, focusing on the establishment of the Cambodian Aquaculture Association. Chet co-founded Kravan House in November 2003, managing a handmade business specializing in silk and cotton products. Previously, Chet held the position of Deputy Director at the Cambodia Livestock Raisers Association, facilitating dialogue and advocacy in the swine industry from June 2017 to August 2019. Chet has extensive experience in logistics coordination with organizations like RTI International and Chemonics International, assessing microfinance needs with SOFRECO, and conducting market analysis for the World Food Programme. Chet's career also includes roles as a Project Coordinator at the Food and Agriculture Organization and a Senior Project Officer at Catholic Relief Services, focusing on rural economic development and marketing. Chet holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the National University of Management.
