Cassidy Smith

Cassidy Smith, President of Uniche Collective, has been in the Toy Industry for 18 years. Most will know him from his role as VP of Sales and Marketing at Hape Toys.

Cassidy started in the Toy Industry working for Educo with Kathy Klaus as acting president. When Educo was sold to Hape, Cassidy continued to grow within the Hape family and, alongside Maggie Qiu, grew the Hape Brand to what it is today. This year marks a new venture for Cassidy with his Boutique Distributorship Uniche Collective focused on beautiful brands from around the world, dedicated to the Specialty Industry.

Cassidy, known for creating the Toy Sync Battle for the industry, has also received the Innovator of the Year Award from ASTRA and most recently as the member who created the idea of Toy Boat and presented it to ASTRA.
