Eric Masten

Eric Masten currently serves as the Director of Federal Affairs, Education at The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association since April 2019. Prior to this role, Masten was the Director of Public Policy at the National Network for Youth, where an organizational policy strategy for youth homelessness was designed and executed. Masten has held various positions, including Principal at Eric Masten Consulting, Director of Health Policy, Advocacy & Communications at Healthy Howard, Inc., and Policy & Program Coordinator at Generations United, focusing on domestic policy issues. Masten's early career includes public policy work at GLSEN and legislative roles with U.S. Senator Patty Murray and Congressman Rick Larsen. Masten holds a B.A. in Political Science from Western Washington University.
