Joan Riggs

Joan Riggs is an experienced project manager with a strong background in managing large-scale projects across various sectors. Currently serving as a Project Manager at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) since May 2018, Joan has previously held project management positions at Get Real Health and Kabultec, where responsibilities included overseeing patient portal projects and managing logistics for non-profit initiatives in Afghanistan, respectively. Earlier roles included serving as a Health Policy Analyst for the State of Maryland and contributing to advocacy efforts at The Pew Charitable Trusts. Joan's educational credentials include a Master’s degree in International Public Policy from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, an MBA from the University of Colorado, and a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences from Kansas State University.
