Daniel Acheampong is a co-founder and general partner at Visible Hands, a pre-seed venture capital firm supporting overlooked founders. Currently serving on the board of directors for American Student Assistance and The Posse Foundation, Daniel also holds roles as a venture advisor at the Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale and an entrepreneur in residence at MIT designX. Previous experience includes working as a teaching fellow at Harvard Kennedy School and summer associate positions at The HYM Investment Group and Lazard. Daniel's early career involved an associate role at Summit Partners and as a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs. Educational credentials include an MBA from The Wharton School and an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, along with a BA in Economics and Politics from Brandeis University, graduating Cum Laude.

American Student Assistance™ (ASA) is changing the way kids learn about careers and navigate postsecondary pathways through exploration, work-based learning, and free digital experiences. ASA meets students both in and beyond the classroom with digital tools, resources, and information to empower their career planning journeys. We believe that exploring career possibilities, as early as middle school, and having equitable access to education-to-career pathways aligned with one’s passions and goals will result in greater confidence and long-term success for all students.
