Brandon Axelrod

Brandon Axelrod has a diverse work experience. Brandon currently serves as a Biomedical Sciences Teacher Assistant at the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. Brandon is also the Vice President of Community Engagement for ASDA Stony Brook at the American Student Dental Association. In 2021, they worked as the Director at Top Professionals. In 2012, they owned and operated their own small business, Balloon Twisting by Brandini.

In 2019, Brandon founded the Brain Exercise Initiative at Cornell University, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving cognitive function in individuals with Alzheimer's Disease. Brandon also worked as a Student and Laboratory Assistant at Cornell University, conducting research on the taste system.

Prior to their work at Cornell, Brandon served as a Weill Cornell Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Extern at Weill Cornell Medicine in 2019. In 2018, they interned at Wall Street Options, specializing in executive recruiting and career management services. Brandon also worked as a Summer Camp Counselor at the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County from 2015 to 2017.

Brandon Axelrod's education history begins in 2013 when they attended Commack High School and graduated in 2017. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Society at Cornell University, starting in 2017. Currently, Brandon is a DDS Candidate at Stony Brook University, specializing in Dentistry, a program they began in 2021 and is expected to complete in 2025.
