Deann Barlow

DeAnn Barlow is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in retail, e-commerce, and art management. Currently serving as the Retail E-Commerce Coordinator and Book Buyer at The American Swedish Institute since April 2021, DeAnn manages the ASI Online Store and has successfully built the ASI Shopify Site. Prior to this role, DeAnn held the position of Creative Director at äventyr.cc from January 2017 to December 2022, overseeing the transition of the brand from a bicycle bag company to a creative project. DeAnn’s previous experience includes roles as a Spinning Instructor, Senior Account Manager at The Airtex Group, Account Manager at Blu Dot, Assistant Registrar/Exhibitions at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Assistant Registrar at the Denver Art Museum, and Curatorial Assistant at the Des Moines Art Center. DeAnn holds an MA in Art History from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Art Management from Luther College.
