Rafael MacIas

Rafael Macias currently serves as a Senior Planning Yard SSC Advanced Planner at American Systems since October 2021. Prior to this, Rafael Macias had a distinguished career with the US Navy from June 1996 to August 2021, including roles as a Gas Turbine Systems Technician Mechanical, Hovercraft Operator, and Operations Manager/Department LCPO, where management of a fleet of multi-million dollar marine craft and over 300 personnel was achieved. Additionally, Rafael Macias held the position of Master Training Specialist at Assault Craft Unit Five from August 2017 to July 2021, overseeing the daily production of industrial shops and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. As a Curriculum Specialist and Hovercraft Operator Instructor, Rafael Macias was responsible for curriculum development and training operational crews on various platforms.
