David S. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. David is currently working at American Technology Solutions International Corp. (ATSI) as a Senior Strategy & Policy Professional. Prior to this, from 2020 to 2022, they worked at Cydecor, Inc. in the same role.
From 2017 to 2020, David was with The Joint Staff, where they had multiple roles. David served as an Executive Assistant in the J-5, Europe/NATO/Russia, supporting the Deputy Director in strategy development and pol-mil policy formulation for European and Eurasian countries. From 2009 to 2012, David served at Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron 7, first as the Commanding Officer leading security protection operations across the Western Pacific, and then as the Executive Officer. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2008, they worked as the Northeast Asia Exercises & Policy Officer at United States Seventh Fleet.
David's early experience includes working as a Damage Control Assistant on USS NIMITZ CVN-68 from 2006 to 2007, and as a Surface Operations/Strike Officer at Carrier Strike Group NINE from 2003 to 2005.
David S. began their education in 1984 at Novi High School, where they completed their secondary education. Following high school, they attended the United States Naval Academy from 1988 to 1992, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in General Studies.
