Michelle Stokes

Michelle Stokes is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental management and operations. Currently serving as the Director of System Operations and previously holding multiple director and managerial roles at ATC since August 2004, Michelle oversees corporate-wide initiatives in the Environmental Department, including project licensing and regulatory hearings. Prior to ATC, Michelle worked as a Brownfields Program Specialist at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, coordinating remediation efforts for contaminated areas, and served as a research assistant and instructor at the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay, focusing on environmental economics. Michelle's career began at Cedar Falls Utilities as an Energy Services Representative, promoting energy efficiency. Michelle holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science & Policy from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Northern Iowa.
