Randy Johanning

Randy Johanning, PE, is an experienced Transmission Planning Engineer currently working at ATC since September 2017, where responsibilities include evaluating unique planning aspects within the Special Studies group. Prior experience includes a role as an Electrical Engineer at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission from February 2010 to August 2017, focusing on the study and analysis of utility docket filings. Randy Johanning also has a background as an Electrician at Johanning Electric from May 2005 to January 2010, where duties involved installing, updating, and troubleshooting electrical facilities. Additionally, a temporary position as a Clerical Systems Manager at Lands' End in the summer of 2007 involved testing and developing an internet database. Early career experience includes working as a Cook at Pizza Hut from May 2003 to June 2005.
