Scott Herbst

Scott Herbst joined American Transmission Co. in January 2016 as vice president of information technology. He has more than 30 years of experience in the utility industry. Prior to joining ATC, he was senior director for the IT Business Solutions group at PPL Corp. Herbst also worked for the Midcontinent Independent System Operator, where he held various operations and IT management and executive level positions during his nine-year tenure. Prior to MISO, he spent seven years at Xcel Energy Transmission in various IT and transition management positions.

Herbst earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree in finance, both from the University of Minnesota.
