Michael Samford has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. From 2007 to 2020, they worked at Unified Trust Company, starting as a Trust Operations Associate and progressing to roles such as Internal Consultant, Senior Internal Consultant, and Client Consultant. In 2017, they became a Digital Advice Manager, leading a product team managing a $1.5 billion digital advice platform. In 2020, they joined American Trust as the Director of Product Management, specializing in product development and integration within the retirement services division. Michael later became the Director of Investment Solutions, leading product development and fintech initiatives for the Trust Investment and Wealth Management teams. Michael is experienced in investment research, capital markets forecasting, asset allocation, portfolio management, and investment due diligence.
