Guy R. Pilkington

Guy R. Pilkington, Ph.D. is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in virology and molecular biology. Currently serving as Lead Scientist in Virology R&D Product Development at ATCC since March 2020, Guy previously held the role of Director of Molecular Virology and Hepatitis Research at ImQuest BioSciences, where the development of anti-viral and anti-microbial drug programs was overseen. Guy's early career includes significant research contributions at the National Cancer Institute as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and at Cleveland Clinic as a Research Associate, where critical insights into cardiac allograft vasculopathy were made. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona and both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Cell Biology and Micro-Anatomy from the University of the Witwatersrand.
