Kristen Franklin

Kristen Franklin, MS, PMP, currently serves as the Director of BioProduction at ATCC since March 2023. With extensive experience in the biotechnology and biopharmaceutical sectors, Kristen has held key leadership positions at Allogene Therapeutics as Director of External Manufacturing, and Genocea Biosciences as Associate Director of Cell Therapy Development & Manufacturing. Previous roles include Associate Director of CMC Program Management at Kite Pharma, Senior Manager of Global Commercial Cell & Gene Therapy at Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Project Manager/Manager of GMP Operations at Paragon Bioservices, Inc. Additionally, Kristen has worked as an Associate Scientist in Cell Culture Process Development at Novavax and has held supervisory roles at SeraCare Life Sciences and BioReliance. Kristen began her career as a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland, where Kristen earned both a BS in Physiology and Neurobiology and an MS in Biotechnology Management.
