Vidya Perera

Vidya Perera is a highly experienced biologist with a strong background in molecular and cellular biology, specializing in in vitro assays, flow cytometry, and cytokine production analysis. Currently serving as a Lead Biologist at ATCC since February 2023, Vidya previously held positions as a Senior Biologist, Research Assistant, and Research Associate across reputable organizations, including Labcorp Drug Development and Intrexon Corporation. A solid educational foundation includes a Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Micro and Molecular Biology from Portland State University. Alongside significant research in cancer immunology and cell behavior, Vidya has also contributed to teaching and laboratory management, demonstrating expertise in both academic and practical applications of biological sciences.
