Eric Hamilton

Eric Hamilton has over 35 years of work experience in the insurance industry. Eric is currently the Vice President of Employee Benefits Strategy and Product at OneAmerica since January 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Integrated Solutions at ESIS, Inc. from December 2021 to December 2022. From 2012 to 2021, Hamilton held the position of Vice President of Group Products and Financial Wellness at Prudential Financial, where they were responsible for building disability, absence, and financial wellness solutions for the Group Insurance business division. Before that, they worked at Guardian Life as the Assistant Vice President of Disability/Life Product Management and Strategy from 2007 to 2012, where they successfully expanded the disability presence in the larger case market. From 2002 to 2007, Hamilton served as the Assistant Vice President at CIGNA Group Insurance, where they transformed the disability offerings, leading to significant improvements in CIGNA's position in short-term and long-term disability rankings. Eric began their career at Unum in 1986, gaining additional relevant experience over a 16-year period. Throughout their career, Hamilton has demonstrated expertise in product management, strategy, and building out solutions in the insurance industry.

Eric Hamilton has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Bates College. Eric also attended the University of Bath for a Junior Year Abroad program, where they pursued a BA in Economics. Eric completed an Executive Marketing Program at Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business and a Marketing Management Program at Columbia Business School. Eric furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Southern Maine.
