Laura Pontari

Laura Pontari currently serves as an Associate Manager on the Managing Fiscal Risks team at The Pew Charitable Trusts, focusing on ESG issues, municipal finance, federal funds issuance to states, and state budget volatility. Laura also holds positions as a Senior Associate and Associate with the Fiscal Federalism Initiative at American University Business Law Review and as a Junior Staffer at American University Washington College of Law. Previous roles include Account Representative at Chapman Cubine Adams + Hussey, Economic Policy Intern at the Center for American Progress, Fiscal Intern at The Peter G. Peterson Foundation, and Intern with the City of Philadelphia. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, Political Science, and Economics from the same institution.
