Ada H. Porter

Ada H. Porter has extensive experience in communications and organizational development, currently serving as Secretary of the University and Director of the New York Office at the American University of Beirut since 2005. In previous roles, Ada served as Senior Director of Communications and Trustees Relations, focusing on university magazine editing, trustee relations, advancement communications, and media relations. Prior to that, Ada held the position of Director of Communications and Programs at The Business Council of Westchester, where responsibilities included coordinating events and producing publications. Additionally, Ada worked as Associate Director of Development at the Lycee Francais de New York, overseeing bilingual publications, public relations, and branding efforts. Early experience includes a role as Assistant to the Director at the Arabic Language Institute of Fez, organizing academic exchange programs. Ada H. Porter holds a BA in French Literature from Haverford College and has studied at Université Aix-Marseille IV and Lycée Martin V.
