Basma Zeidan

Basma Zeidan is an experienced educational professional currently serving as the Director of the Office of International Programs at the American University of Beirut since January 2012. In this role, Basma oversees student support services, manages the integration of international students, and administers a peer-to-peer volunteer program, while also acting as the main study abroad advisor. Prior to this position, Basma founded EduConsult, LLC, an international consulting firm focused on partnerships between educational institutions in the Middle East and North Africa. Additional experience includes managing the Dubai-based components of the Executive MBA program at London Business School and providing consultancy expertise in the MENA region for the University of the Middle East Project. Basma holds an M.Ed in Educational Administration from Boston College and a BA in Education from Lebanese American University.
