Ghina Hassan

Ghina HASSAN is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the American University of Beirut since August 2023. Prior to this, Ghina was a PhD student in Robotics and Automatic Control at LIRMM from October 2018 to December 2022, focusing on the control of a parallel robot for high-speed pick-and-throw tasks in selective sorting. Earlier experience includes a final year project at Lebanese University on the interaction of faults in hybrid electric vehicle propulsion systems and a graduation internship at Cimenterie Nationale S.A.L, which provided practical experience in instrumentation, maintenance, electricity, and electronics. Ghina holds a Master's degree from Lebanese University, a Diploma in Engineering in Industrial Control and Computer Engineering from the same institution, and is pursuing a Doctor's Degree in Robotics and Automatic Control at the University of Montpellier. Education began with a Baccalaureate in General Sciences from Al Iman Islamic School.
