Maher Itani

Maher Itani is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in service delivery management, project oversight, and software engineering. Currently serving as Senior IT Service Delivery Manager at the American University of Beirut since April 2006, Maher has focused on aligning IT services with institutional goals and enhancing user satisfaction. Previous roles at the same institution include managing a portfolio of IT projects that achieved significant cost savings, leading key initiatives in IoT, and migrating legacy applications to cloud platforms. Maher's career began as a Web Designer and Programmer at the Hariri Directorate of Health, followed by a position as a Junior Developer at Stripling & Beck. Maher holds an Executive MBA and a Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the American University of Beirut, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Beirut Arab University. Maher holds several professional certifications, including ITIL®, PMP®, and COBIT®.
