Beth Hanak

Beth Hanak is currently serving as the Department Manager for Peace, Human Rights & Cultural Relations and Associate Director of Regional Alumni Outreach at American University since March 2023. Previously, Hanak worked as an Educator at Montgomery County Public Schools from August 2012 to June 2022. Hanak's early career includes a role as a Document Analyst at Geneva Software, Inc. and serving as Vice President of Publications at ISS from February 1997 to April 2002. Academically, Hanak holds a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies and another Bachelor's degree from American University, along with a Master of Education from the University of Maryland.
