Chelsey A. Anderson

Chelsey A. Anderson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in administrative operations and the arts. Currently serving as the Director of Administrative Operations at American University, Chelsey oversees day-to-day functions and financial management within the Office of General Counsel, while also supporting the Board of Trustees' events. Previously held positions include Associate Director at the American University Museum, where responsibilities encompassed financial leadership and personnel management, and Director of Special Events for the College of Arts and Sciences, focusing on event planning. Chelsey’s background also includes roles at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra as Institutional Giving Coordinator and at the National Center for Creative Aging as Associate Manager for Development and Marketing. Notably, Chelsey is also an active artist with professional training in various artistic disciplines.
