Chris Halsne has a diverse and extensive work experience in journalism and digital storytelling. Chris currently serves as the Director of the MA in Journalism and Digital Storytelling program at American University since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Professorial Lecturer at the same institution from June 2019.

Before joining American University, Halsne worked as an Investigative Reporter at KDVR - FOX 31 from December 2013 to June 2019.
