Edgar Aguilar is a consultant in the Energy & Extractives Global Knowledge (IEEGK) unit at The World Bank, with a prior internship in the same unit. Currently a Research Associate at the Center for Latin America & Latino Studies at American University, Edgar also serves as a Research Assistant at the American University School of International Service. Previously, Edgar worked as a Senior Researcher and Junior Researcher at the Association for a More Just Society, as well as an Energy Analyst at Transparency International. Additional experience includes property management roles at Eenhoorn LLC and Calvin College, community engagement in Grand Rapids, and leadership in student governance and organizations at Calvin College. Edgar holds a Master's degree in International Economics from American University and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Economics from Calvin University.
