Eric Weakland

Eric Weakland has extensive experience in information security and technology management, with a career spanning from 1994 to the present. Currently serving as the Director of Information Security at American University, Eric has also held roles such as Network Security Admin and Helpdesk Manager at the same institution since 1995. Prior experience includes serving as Help Desk Manager at Support Systems Developers Incorporated, where responsibilities involved managing a team of technicians and overseeing training and performance evaluation. Earlier in the career, Eric worked as a Computer Trainer, teaching various software applications. Eric's educational background includes a Master's degree in Information Technology Management from American University, completion of the 21st Century Leadership Program, and a BA from Carnegie Mellon University, underscoring a strong foundation in leadership and technology.
