Katie Hut

Katie Hut is an experienced librarian and information professional with a diverse background in library services and management. Currently serving as a Business Librarian and Co-Interim Business Librarian at American University since September 2018, Katie has also held titles as a Research Librarian. Previous roles include Manager of the Library Relations Department at the Practising Law Institute and Digital Asset Manager at Andrew Rowat Photography, where responsibilities encompassed managing digital archives and customer service. Katie's earlier experiences feature research and usability roles at institutions such as Ithaka, the Brooklyn Historical Society, and the New York Public Library. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Pratt Institute and an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
