Keith McIver

Keith McIver is a seasoned professional in development and philanthropy with extensive experience in higher education and community service. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Development for Parent & Family Philanthropy at American University since November 2021, Keith previously held significant leadership roles at Columbia College, including Director of Development and Alumni Relations. With a strong focus on major and planned gifts, Keith successfully managed an active portfolio of prospective donors. Prior experience includes overseeing campus operations at The New School and coordinating emergency housing initiatives through the Family Service Center of South Carolina. Keith's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts from Williams College, a Master of Public Administration from New York University, and a Master of Science in Urban Policy Analysis from The New School.
