Kimberly Araya

Kimberly Araya is an experienced professional in higher education administration, currently serving as Director at American University since January 2014. Prior to this role, Kimberly held various positions at the University of Minnesota from July 2001 to January 2014, including Director of Conference Services, Assistant Director of Conference and External Relations, and Coordinator of Judicial Affairs. Kimberly began her career as Residence Director at Iowa State University from 1997 to 2001. Academically, Kimberly earned a Master's degree in Applied Behavioral Counseling from The Johns Hopkins University and holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Loyola University New Orleans, in addition to studies at Cooley Law School.
