Matthew Templeton

Matthew Templeton is a Doctoral Candidate in Economics (ABD) at American University, focusing on macroeconomics, development, and time-series econometrics, with a thesis titled "Four Essays on Economic Development." Prior to this role, Matthew founded and managed Single Speed Components, a retailer specializing in environmentally friendly single speed and fixed gear bicycles. Experience includes internships at the Center for Economic and Policy Research, contributing to research on IMF interventions in sub-Saharan Africa, and at Global Justice Now, focusing on trade policy reforms.
