Megan Litke

Megan Litke is an accomplished sustainability professional with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as the Director of Sustainability at American University since August 2014, Megan implements the university's 2021 Sustainability Plan and oversees sustainability programs. Previous roles include Sustainability Manager at the University of Richmond, where Megan spearheaded various sustainability initiatives, and Sustainability Manager at American University, achieving carbon neutrality ahead of schedule. Educational qualifications include a Master of Liberal Arts in Sustainability and Environmental Management from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science in Management from Tulane University. Megan has also contributed as an adjunct professor, sharing expertise on environmental studies and sustainability topics.
