Emma Sorrell

Emma Sorrell serves as the Senior Director of Sustainability & ESG at Cumming Group, leading the sustainability practice for the Southwest region with a team of over 15 members, a position held since November 2017. Prior to this role, Emma held multiple sustainability-focused positions at UCLA Housing & Hospitality Services, culminating in a Sustainability Manager role where responsibility included overseeing sustainability programs aligned with the UC Sustainable Practices Policy. Emma’s earlier experience includes establishing and directing the sustainability program at Occidental College as its first Sustainability Coordinator, alongside implementing the "Real Food Challenge" program to promote sustainable dining practices. Emma holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Urban and Environmental Policy from Occidental College and has completed a study abroad program in Greek culture, history, and art at The Arcadia Center for Hellenic, Balkan and Mediterranean Studies.
