Shannon Blum is an experienced social media and digital content professional with a strong background in marketing communications and journalism. Currently serving as the Social Media Manager at the American Veterinary Medical Association since June 2023, Shannon previously worked as the Marketing Communications Manager at Resurrection College Prep High School, where a marketing communication strategy was implemented to enhance the school's digital presence. Prior experience includes roles as Digital Content Producer at WBBM-AM and Web Producer at WBBM-TV, where leadership in content creation and social media management was demonstrated. Shannon's career also includes internships and associate roles, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Columbia College Chicago.
