Frank Kurtz

Frank Kurtz is a seasoned professional in civil engineering with extensive experience in standards and editorial roles. Currently serving as a Standards Engineer at the American Water Works Association since 2007, Frank has previously held key positions at Kurtz Communications as Principal and at the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute as Editor in Chief of PCI Journal. Frank's career also includes significant contributions at the American Concrete Institute as a Staff Engineer and Engineering Editor for Concrete International, as well as a role as Bridge Design Engineer at the South Carolina Department of Transportation. Frank began the professional journey as a Design & QA/QC Engineer at Arnold Concrete Products. Frank holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Clemson University.
