Alicia Barbieri

Alicia Barbieri is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in corporate communications and external affairs. Since December 2018, Alicia has served as the Director of Corporate Communications & External Affairs at American Water, after progressing through various roles, including Manager and Assistant Marketing Manager within the same organization. Prior to American Water, Alicia worked as a Special Events Consultant at Alan Nau Consulting, Inc. from 2017 to 2018. Alicia's earlier career includes significant contributions at Susan G. Komen, where roles spanned from Development and Events Manager to Community Resource Manager and Volunteer and Events Coordinator. Alicia holds a Master of Arts in Corporate & Public Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in History, both from Monmouth University.
