Janelle McNally

Janelle McNally is the Senior Manager of Investor Relations at American Water. Janelle has over six years of experience in marketing, with a focus on customer acquisition and lead generation.

Janelle began their career at The J.G. Wentworth Company in 2012 as the Director of Marketing for the Structured Settlement division. In this role, they were responsible for developing and executing a multi-channel marketing strategy to support customer acquisition efforts.

During their time at J.G. Wentworth, Janelle made numerous contributions to the company’s marketing efforts that led to increased conversion rates and efficiency. Janelle developed Standard Operating Procedures alongside Agency partners and internal stakeholders to optimize the buy management process for Broadcast Television channel, which resulted in a reduction in Cost Per Lead (CPL) and a streamlined planning cycle. Additionally, they improved TV Cost Per Lead by 29% through the introduction of new assets and Standard Operating Procedures. Janelle also decreased TV Cost Per Thousand Impression (CPM) by 42%, resulting in exposing more consumers to advertising per ad dollar spent.

In 2017, Janelle added Online Video to the marketing mix, which was valued as the second most efficient contributor to overall Lead volume. Janelle also developed an eight video educational series for the Structured Settlement and Home Lending divisions to enhance customer experience and support digital Key Performance Indicators. In addition, they collaborated with Marketing peers, Legal, Compliance and Business stakeholders to launch Short Message Service (SMS) to support customer communication preferences and meet Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) requirements.

In 2018, Janelle transitioned to their current role as Senior Manager of Investor Relations at American Water. In this role, they are responsible for managing the relationships between American Water and its investors.

Janelle McNally has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Temple University and they also went to Bloomsburg Area High School.
